What to include
A quote is only as good as the brief. These five lines cover almost every question a shop would otherwise email back and lose a day to.
- Material and temper — "Grade 5 titanium", not "titanium"
- Batch size — including whether it repeats each quarter
- Finish — stonewash, bead-blast, Type III, anodize colour
- The dimensions that matter — the fit, not all 40 of them
- Your deadline — the drop date you are working back from
