Privacy policy
Short version: we collect what you put in a form, your drawing goes only to shops you approve, and we delete both on request. The detail is below.

Who we are
edcpart.com is an independent manufacturing sourcing desk based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We match buyers of custom CNC EDC parts with vetted Vietnamese machine shops. We are not a manufacturer.
What we collect
When you submit the RFQ form, we receive what you type into it:
- Name and email address
- Company or brand name, where given
- Country
- Part description, material, quantity, finish and deadline
- Any file you attach, typically a STEP, DWG, DXF or PDF drawing
When you submit the supplier application form, we receive your company name, contact email, location, capability description and any capability sheet you attach.
We do not ask for and have no use for payment details, identity documents or any other sensitive personal data. Please do not put them in a form.
How forms are processed
Both forms are handled by FormSubmit, a third-party form delivery service, which forwards the submission to our email. Your submission passes through their systems in transit and is subject to their processing as well as ours.
What we do with it
We use your enquiry to prepare a quotation. In practice that means reading your drawing, then sharing it with a shortlist of two or three machine shops so they can quote.
Your drawing is not broadcast to a supplier list. It goes to shortlisted shops only. If you request an NDA, it is signed by us before your file is opened, and by any shop that receives it, and it includes an obligation not to manufacture your design for anyone else and not to publish photographs of your parts.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up a repeat order without asking you for everything again. Drawings and capability sheets are returned or deleted on request, by us and by any shop that held them.
To request deletion, email from the address you used, and say what you want removed. We action it and confirm, normally within 24 business hours.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to processing, or to complain to a data protection authority. Exercise any of them by emailing . We will not ask you to justify the request.
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site tracking. Our host may record standard server request data such as IP address, timestamp and user agent for security and aggregate traffic reporting.
Fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from a third-party font service, so visiting a page does not make a request to Google on your behalf.
If analytics or a tag manager is added later, this section will be updated before it goes live rather than after.
Where your data goes
We are in Vietnam. Shortlisted shops are in Vietnam. If you are in the EU or UK, that means your enquiry is transferred outside your jurisdiction. By sending an enquiry you are asking us to do that in order to obtain your quotation.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and the substance of the change is stated rather than silently edited in.
