The work is small and repeats
A 25-piece scale order is not a favour, it is the business model. EDC brands release on a quarterly cadence, so a shop that handles the first drop well usually sees the next three.
Finish decides the reorder
These parts are held and looked at, not bolted inside a machine. A uniform stonewash and an even anodize colour across a batch matter as much as the tolerance does.
The buyers are direct
Mostly US, Japan, Germany and Singapore. Small brands and one-person makers who research on Google, email in English and pay by wire or card without a procurement portal in the way.
Plainly, so there is nothing to discover later
A buyer sends a drawing. We review it, strip out the enquiries that are not real, and pass the serious ones to the two or three shops whose machines and materials fit. You quote through us for the first order. After it ships, you can work with the buyer directly — we are not trying to own the relationship permanently.
There is no listing fee and no exclusivity demanded of you. We do expect a quote back inside two working days, because the whole promise of this site to buyers is an answer within 24 business hours. A shop that goes quiet for a week stops receiving RFQs.
Apply to the supplier network
We are a sourcing desk, not a factory. Buyers send us drawings for EDC parts — knife scales, pen bodies, flashlight hosts — and we route each one to the shops that genuinely fit. What we look for
- Three years or more of small-batch CNC work — not only container-volume OEM runs
- Titanium, 7075, 416 or hardened tool steel handled routinely, with mill certs available
- Finishing in-house or through a finisher you manage: stonewash, bead-blast, anodize, PVD
- Export experience to the US, EU or Japan, and someone who answers email in English
- Willing to quote a 25-piece job with the same care as a 2,500-piece job
